Study Description - Pneumonia Vaccine

Researchers are studying an investigational vaccine that may provide protection against pneumococcal disease in healthy adults age 50 and older. This study will test the safety and immune response of three different lots of an investigational pneumonia vaccine compared to a vaccine already approved for use.

This clinical trial is open to healthy males and females over the age of 50 who have never received a pneumonia vaccine of any kind. Participation in this trial requires two visits to our clinic, with compensation of $275 provided for time and travel. No insurance is required.
